Kassie joined the Etobicoke Veterinary Hospital team in 2016, in 2017 she completed her University Degree in Veterinary Technology and became registered in 2018. Kassie has been in the veterinary field since the age of 14, she started with cats, dogs, and exotic pets. She still has a passion for exotic animal veterinary medicine, but is currently completing her specialty in small animal clinical nutrition.
Kassie is most often in the surgery suite ensuring our patients are safe under anesthesia. She uses her skills and degree to the fullest and does all aspects of a Veterinary Technicians job throughout the clinic taking loads of work off the doctors plates to enabling them to help a higher volume of patients efficiently.
In her not so often spare time, Kassie is usually fostering kittens and adopting them out to the best homes possible. She also spends time gaining more knowledge by completing continuing education courses on all aspects of Veterinary Medicine. She currently has 3 cats at home but always has a revolving door of fosters and babysits friends pets often.
