Jessica Oszvald

Registered Veterinary Technician

Meet Jess, one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians. She has a small zoo, full of rescued animals that have found permanent, loving, forever homes with her. She has two dogs; a geriatric Miniature Pincher named “Rome”, and young rescued dog from the Dominican Republic, named “Sitia”. She also has a beautiful Catalina Macaw parrot named “Carlos”, who loves coming to work and meeting new people! Lastly, she also has two horses; one is a retired & rescued Thoroughbred named “Landon”, and the other is a young Appaloosa colt, named “Calixto”, who was also rescued from an auction as a yearling, and lets not forget Danger her beautiful tortoiseshell cat!

Jess finished her Veterinary Technician schooling in the Spring of 2010, and wrote her exams to be an RVT, shortly after. She has been a practicing RVT ever since, and absolutely loves her job! Jess is very passionate about animal rights and cruelty/abuse prevention. She has volunteered with rescue groups from around the world, and is a firm believer in better and safer animal welfare, as well as harsher punishments for people who mistreat/abuse animals.

When Jess is not working, she loves to spend time with her fur & feathered gang, and to be outside with nature (this usually includes being with the animals). Jess loves to stay active and enjoys working out, practicing yoga, going to concerts, horse-back riding, cooking, camping, reading, and travelling.

Jessica also speaks Spanish and can not wait to help you and your pet out!
